Choose less, match your energy, and start one thing.

Put one to three priorities in view, choose the energy you actually have, and use a two-minute start to lower the cost of beginning. Your plan and check-ins stay in this browser on this device.

Why keep the list to three

A long list can make every item feel equally urgent. A short Today view creates a boundary. It asks what would make the day meaningfully easier, not how much work can be packed into it.

One priority is a complete plan. The second and third spaces are optional, and leaving them blank can protect attention for the thing that matters most.

Plan for the energy you have

Energy is context, not a grade. On a low-energy day, the useful plan may be one essential task and more recovery space. With steadier energy, you may choose a second concrete action. Extra energy can help, but it does not have to become a larger obligation.

If the plan starts to feel unrealistic, edit it. A plan that changes with new information is working as intended.

Use two minutes to gather evidence

The two-minute start is not a promise to finish. It is a small experiment that can answer a simpler question: what does beginning this task actually involve? Open the document, put the materials in reach, write one sentence, or complete one visible action.

When the timer ends, choose whether the task feels a little easier, still sticky, or done enough. Those check-ins are private notes, not a focus score. They can help you notice which tasks need a smaller step or a different environment.

What is saved

The current day's priorities, energy choice, and up to five check-ins are stored with local browser storage. Focora.me does not need an account for this tool and does not turn the entries into an advertising profile. A new calendar day starts with a fresh plan.

If browser storage is blocked or cleared, the planner still works for the current visit, but the entries may not remain after the page closes.
